Flower Power BIke Ride

Description The Flower Power Bike Ride was begun in 1991 by the Muskogee Parks and Recreation Department. It is one of the first rides of the cycling season in the midwest, and coincides with Muskogee's annual Azalea Festival in Honor Heights Park.

The Flower Power Bike Ride begins and ends at Three Forks Harbor on the Arkansas River River East of Muskogee and features 5 differnt routes that range in length from 10 to 100 miles in length. The routes go through the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and across the Lake Fort Gibson Dam; over the Grand, Verdigris, Arkansas, and Illinois Rivers; through the cradle of Oklahoma and Five Civilized Tribes history.

The Flower Power Bike Ride benefits the Azalea Festival, Honor Heights Park, and trail development in Muskogee.
